About US, Welcome to Our-story, the United Nuwaupian Nation—an internationally recognized sovereign state operating under Sovereign Head of State H.E. Dr. Malachi Z. K. York. Here, you’ll explore the nation’s founding, Our-story, and its ongoing path toward full self-determination.
H.E. Dr. Malachi Z. K. York is the Sovereign Head of State of the United Nuwaupian Nation. On June 26, 1992, he established the United Nuwaupian Nation in its capital city, Tama-Re, marking the founding moment of the nation.

The United Nuwaupian Nation is comprised of African peoples who journeyed to and established communities in the Americas long before European colonization. These communities intermingled with indigenous tribes, including the Muscogee, Creek, Seminole, and other indigenous African tribes already present in the Americas. This represents a profound reunification of African peoples on their ancestral lands, rather than a foreign settlement.

Citizens of the United Nuwaupian Nation are currently exercising their profound right to vote in the Re-Election of H.E. Dr. Malachi Z. K. York as their Sovereign Head of State. This act echoes the powerful moment when Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, after being freed from prison, was elected president by the people of Ghana, marking a monumental act of self-determination. Just as Nkrumah's election affirmed the sovereignty of Ghana, the Nuwaupian vote is a similar, unwavering declaration of a people choosing their own leader and affirming their national sovereignty.

Colonialism, a dark chapter in human history, was formally declared illegal through United Nations resolutions beginning in 1960 with the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples. Over the three decades between 1990 and 2020, the global movement toward the eradication of colonialism continued to build momentum. Under this body of international law, the United Nuwaupian Nation asserts its inherent right to self-determination, and its declaration of sovereignty is one that cannot simply be denied. This aligns with the general legal principle that sovereign nations are considered equal peers under international law, encapsulated by the maxim "par in parem non habet imperium" – meaning no one government holds authority over another sovereign state.

The United Nuwaupian Nation formalizes its sovereignty and its right to self-determination through a treaty, standing as a declaration between the Nuwaupian people and the international community that recognizes their independence and their inherent right to govern themselves free from colonial rule.

The historic Yazoo Land Fraud saw the Government of Georgia collude with its own legislative bodies to fraudulently sell vast tracts of indigenous Nuwaupian land to speculators. This foundational injustice against the indigenous peoples of the land is a key historical event, directly connecting to the United Nuwaupian Nation's present-day right to decolonize from the colonial state of Georgia and reclaim what was taken through fraud rather than lawful means.

The United Nuwaupian Nation stands resolute in its unwavering pursuit of full independence and freedom from colonial rule. Grounded in international law and the inherent right of self-determination, our journey is a testament to the enduring spirit of a people reclaiming their destiny. We invite you to stand with us, to learn more, and to support our continued path toward complete sovereignty, echoing the universal call for all nations to govern themselves in peace and dignity.
